Lindbergh High School launched a new logo for its athletics and student programs last month.
The new logo was revealed during the winter sports Green and Gold Night Nov. 10.
According to a press release from Lindbergh Schools, the new logo “pays tribute to the Flyers tradition” and will create a consistent brand for LHS programs.
The new logo features a modern redesign of the original airplane and a styled arch that “adds movement and energy.”
The new logo will only serve LHS athletics and student programs. The district’s current arch and plane logo will continue to be the official brand of the district and all its schools.
“Lindbergh student athletes have excelled on and off the field for decades,” Athletic Director Scott Luczak stated in the press release. “This logo honors that tradition and reflects the high school’s pillars of excellence, integrity, passion and pride as we look to the future.”
A committee comprised of students, coaches, parents, alumni and community members began meeting last spring to provide feedback on the direction of the logo. The district partnered with VIP Branding to design the logo, which were provided free of charge as part of the district’s existing uniform agreement with BSN Sports.
The new logo will be customized for each LHS team and program.
