Lindbergh High School students stepped up to cheer on Valparaiso University’s basketball team at the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournament, or Arch Madness Tournament, on March 7, pictured above.
The university faced a dilemma as scheduling conflicts prevented their pep band from performing. In a show of support, 30 LHS students filled in, offering their musical talents for the game.
Assistant band director Adam Spirk praised the students for exemplifying the best of Lindbergh: “They played well, were super energetic and enthusiastic, and most importantly were incredible people. They represented Lindbergh, and by extension of our role, Valparaiso University, at the highest level. Representatives from Valparaiso, including one of the assistant athletic directors, were raving about how incredible the Lindbergh kids were.”
