Kindergarten registration for the Lindbergh Schools’ 2012-1203 school year will take place from March 5 to March 9.
Parents whose last names begin with A-C should register on March 5; D-G on March 6; H-L on March 7; M-R on March 8; and S-Z on March 9, according to a district news release. Registration will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m.
Lindbergh Schools offers both half-day and full-day kindergarten programs. Parents who cannot register on their scheduled day should call the school as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time, the release stated. District officials encourage parents to make every effort to register on the day scheduled.

An official birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics should be presented at the time of registration. Parents should bring the child’s immunization records, Social Security card and two documents proving parents’ residency — a real estate or personal property tax bill, rental or purchase contract plus deposit receipt or an Internal Revenue Service tax return, besides a current utility bill.
Children may only be registered by a parent or court-appointed legal guardian. A child must be 5 years old before Aug. 1, 2012, to attend kindergarten in August 2012, according to state law.
