Netta Kowalski recently was named chief financial officer for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.

Kowalski received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and her master’s degree in business administration from Webster University.

Her more than 15 years of nonprofit experience includes her most recent position as CFO at Every Child’s Hope. She has also worked as CFO for the investment firm J.A. Glynn & Co. and as managing director of financial services for Catholic Charities of St. Louis, according to a news release.

As CFO, Kowalski will lead all of the organization’s financial administration, business planning and budgeting. She will serve on the Executive Leadership Team and will work closely with the finance and governance committees of the Board of Directors.

Kowalski lives in south county.
