President Steve Dodson, left, of the Kiwanis Club of South County presents a check to Mehlville School District Superintendent Chris Gaines to help defray some of the costs of the district’s annual 60-Plus Club Barbecue. The Kiwanis Club has been assisting the Mehlville School District with its 60-Plus Barbecue by grilling the hamburgers for about 20 years. This is just one of the many community projects the club performs throughout the year.
