The Kiwanis Club of South County recently presented Call Newspapers a certificate of appreciation in recognition of the fifth consecutive year the Call has published photographs of the club’s Outstanding Students of the Month and Terrific Kids of the Month. The publication of the photographs presents and fosters ‘a positive image of the youth of our community,’ the certificate states. Pictured, from left, are: Jeanne Crews of the Kiwanis Club and Call Newspapers President Bill Milligan. ‘We thank the Kiwanis Club for this tremendous honor,’ Milligan said. ‘We are more than happy to publish photographs of the awards the Kiwanis Club and other community organizations bestow on the deserving and talented young people of our community.’
