Mehlville School District parents who have children ready to start kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year can begin the registration process Monday, Jan. 26.

Registration will end Friday, Jan. 30.

Children born before Aug. 1, 2010, are eligible — no exceptions will be made for children born after that date, according to a district news release. Parents need to contact the school their child will attend to make a registration appointment.

Appointments can be made during school hours or from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29.

To register a child, parents need to bring the child’s birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics, medically documented immunization records and proof of parent/guardian residency. Each kindergarten class is limited to 24 students, so parents are advised to register early to increase the chance of keeping their child at their home school. For more information, visit
