John Thomas, an Oakville Senior High School graduate, recently graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
He has been commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Army and will be stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., in the 82nd Airborne.
His older brother Tim graduated from West Point in 2010 and is stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., in field artillery.
