Born in St. James, Mr. Sellers resided in Overland.

Survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Ethel B. Martin, Helen I. Thomlinson, Norma L. Adams, and Sarah A. and Larry Lambert; and brother and sister-in-law, James R. and Pat Sellers. Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis E. Sellers Jr. and William I. Sellers.

Services and visitation were at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
