Job seekers in South County and the surrounding area are invited to attend a community job fair on Friday, Oct. 18. Sponsored by Lindbergh Schools, the Southwest Area Chamber of Commerce and Call Newspapers, the event will take place from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Lindbergh High School, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 63126.
Missouri Job Career Center and Mers Goodwill Excel Center are among the participants and supporters of the event. Other participants are Bausch & Lomb, Block Advisors, Camp Bow Wow Crestwood, Mid America Carpenters, Central Bank, FCB Banks, Friendship Village, Katsam, Mehlville Fire Protection District, Scenic Nursing & Rehabilitation, Kevin Schartner For Saint Louis County Council, Sinclair & Rush, Inc., St. Louis County Police, Tutor Doctor, Westbrook Academy, Wilson Manufacturing Company, Woodard and the YMCA.
Job seekers can network directly with businesses, fill out applications, get tips on filling out resumes and participate in on-the-spot interviews with select employers. Whether seeking full-time, part-time or entry-level positions, attendees will have access to a variety of industries and companies.
In addition to the job opportunities, attendees can register for prize drawings, including gift certificates from local businesses and tickets to the St. Louis Renaissance Festival. The event offers a valuable chance for job seekers to make connections and discover their next career path.
