The St. Louis County Planning Commission will hear a proposal for an office and warehouse facility in South County at its upcoming public hearing.
The commission meets Monday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. in the County Council chambers at 41 S. Central Ave.
On the meeting agenda is a request for amended M-3 and floodplain M-3 zoning from Block Hawley Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC for an office and warehouse on a 7.22-acre tract on the north side of Baumgartner Road, near Baumgartner Industrial Drive. The proposal is in the 6th County Council District of Councilman Ernie Trakas and the Mehlville School District.
According to the agenda, the preliminary development plan includes a proposed 60,000-square-foot warehouse at 4409 Baumgartner Road. Block Hawley specializes in industrial real estate in the St. Louis area and is headquartered in Chesterfield.
The commission will also hold a public hearing for a conditional use permit from Eric Scott and Janett Lewis of Rustic Roots Sanctuary in R-1 and R-3 residential districts for recreational land uses on a 7.73-acre tract at Eckert and Saeger Lanes, which includes “but (is) not limited to community market and farm tours.” That proposal is in the 4th County Council District.
