To the editor:
With the passage of Proposition S, the Mehlville School District has secured the funding to drastically improve the state of our school facilities. Crucial repairs and improvements have been delayed due to funding challenges, as the district’s tax rate remains among the lowest in the area.
At the same time, the district, along with the rest of the world, has been tasked with educating our children safely and effectively during a global pandemic.
As an alumni, parent, and resident of the district, I am entrusting both the stewardship of Proposition S funds and the safety of our students to two board candidates: Grace Wright and Scott Huegerich.
Please join me in voting for both candidates, as they are proven leaders with the ideal blend of fiscal responsibility, leadership and volunteerism that are vital to the success of our district.
