Helen Charlene Flieg (nee Kostelnik), 75, died July 19.

Born in St. Louis, Mrs. Flieg resided in Lemay.

She was a member of American Legion Post No. 162 Ladies Auxiliary, the St. Bernadette Catholic Church 50/50 Club, the Red Hat Society and the Marine Corps Wives.

Survivors include her husband, Anton F. “Tony’’ Flieg; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Sue Flieg Jr., Mark and Dana Flieg Sr., Chris and Patty Flieg, John and Lara Flieg and Dave and Donna Flieg; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Stan Mierzejewski, Charlene and Ralph Hegel and Dr. Linda (Scott Von-Ohlen) Flieg; sisters, Dorothy Gronenmeyer and Florence Rees; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Fran Kostelnik; and 21 grandchildren.

Services were at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Visitation was at the Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
