Catherine Hanaway, the first and only female speaker of the Missouri House and a former U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, will be the featured speaker at the annual Spring Banquet of the Tesson Ferry Township Republican Club.

Hanaway, a Republican, has announced her intention to run for governor in 2016.

The banquet will take place Sunday, April 27, at the Genesis Banquet Center, 2651 Telegraph Road. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program. The cost is $30, which includes a buffet dinner and open bar.
