Grantwood Village citizens will see some relief from the ever reliable falling of the leaves as cold weather nears.

The Grantwood Village Board of Trustees approved a plan Sept. 21 to have five to six leaf pick up dates in the village for the fourth year in a row. 

Public Works Commissioner Mark Kienstra said the pickups will occur three times in November and twice in December, with a sixth date to be added if needed.
