Girl Scout volunteers honored for service

Six adult volunteers were recognized for their contributions to Girl Scouting in south county at the annual District 1 recognition dinner.The Honor Pin, the highest district award for an active adult member, was awarded to Rosalind Flandreau. The Appreciation Pin for dedicated and devoted service was presented to Marea Kluth-Hoppe and Shelly Myers. Outstanding volunteer award recognition was given to Catherine Christopher, Jan Downey and Kathy Satori. District 1 includes the Affton, Bayless, Hancock and Mehlville school districts and the parochial schools within those school districts. The adults present at the dinner represented 552 years of volunteer service to Girl Scouting.The honorees recognized at the Girl Scout District 1 Recognition Dinner from left, are: Kluthe-Hoppe, Flandreau and Downey.
