Fund-raising event to benefit Camp Rainbow

“Angels on Stage,” an adult evening of comedy dinner theater sponsored by the PAIGE Foundation, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Andre’s Banquet Facilities, 4254 Telegraph Road,

Only a few tickets remain for the adult-only event, which will feature dinner, an open bar and entertainment for $35.

Registration for the event is available at www.PaigeFoundation.com; click on the “shop online” link to reserve seats.

Proceeds from this event will be given to Camp Rainbow, which offers a weeklong summer camp with all the typical camp programs, one-to-one counselor to camper ratio and 24-hour medical care for children with cancer and blood-related disorders who would never have this experience otherwise.

The PAIGE — Precious Angel in God’s Embrace — Foundation was created to honor the memory of Paige Suter, who passed away in September 2006 from a brain aneurysm at the age of 10. Paige had been a pupil at Oakville Elementary School through the fourth grade and had recently moved to Imperial with her family when she passed.

The PAIGE Board of Directors, all members of Paige’s family, has a simple goal for the foundation — carry on Paige’s spirit of giving and helping others. Each year, the foundation raises funds to support a local children’s charity.

“Angels on Ice,” the PAIGE Foundation’s first event ever earlier this year, raised $10,000 for Camp Rainbow, enough to send 14 additional children to the camp.
