Friendship Village residents thank police

August 2, 2017
Friendship Village Sunset Hills residents recognized the Sunset Hills Police Department last week, thanked them for their work with the retirement community and Sunset Hills in general and loaded them down with cookies, many home baked by residents, others carefully chosen from among purchased favorites. Above, 89-year-old Peggy Barker, who spearheaded the effort, gives Officer Justin Webster an early sample of the 60 pounds of cookies that retirement community residents baked and bought.
