Free drive-thru meals, diapers available at St. Louis County Library during school shutdown

The St. Louis County Library and Operation Food Search are providing drive-thru food pickup and diapers for children at select branch locations Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, including at the Weber Road branch in South County.

All libraries are currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but food can be picked up for children from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at nine branch locations, including the Weber Road Branch, 4444 Weber Road, Affton.

Participating locations will provide two shelf-stable breakfasts and two lunches. Meals are available free of charge for children ages 18 and younger.

In addition to the Weber Road branch, meals can be picked up at the following locations:

  • Bridgeton Trails branch, 3455 McKelvey Road, 63044.
  • Florissant Valley branch, 195 New Florissant Road, 63031.
  • Indian Trails branch, 8400 Delport Drive, 63034.
  • Lewis and Clark branch, 9909 Lewis-Clark Blvd., 63136.
  • Natural Bridge branch, 7606 Natural Bridge Road, 63121.
  • Prairie Commons branch, 915 Utz Lane, 63042.
  • Rock Road branch, St. Charles Rock Road, 63074.

Drive-thru emergency diapers will also be available at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County library beginning Friday, April 3.

Four St. Louis County Library branch locations will be offering drive-thru emergency diapers for pick-up beginning Friday, April 3, including at the Weber Road branch, 4444 Weber Road.

The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank will provide an emergency supply of 25 diapers to families in need. Diapers can be picked up at select branch locations Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon. Supplies and sizes may be limited.

Diapers will be provided for children 3 and under. The children must be present at the time of pickup. Diapers will be distributed in the branch parking lots.

In addition to the Weber Road location, diapers can also be picked up at the Florissant Valley branch, 195 New Florissant Road, 63031; the Lewis and Clark branch, 9909 Lewis-Clark Blvd., 63136; and the Natural Bridge branch, 7806 Natural Bridge Road, 63121.
