Four candidates running for two open seats on Lindbergh board

Four candidates running for two open seats on Lindbergh board

The Lindbergh Board of Education and The League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis are hosting a candidate forum March 11 for the upcoming municipal elections. Election Day is Tuesday, April 2.

The candidate forum will be held on Monday, March 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Lindbergh Schools Central Office, 9350 Sappington Road.

Four candidates are running for two open seats on the board: Rachel Braaf Koehler, current board secretary Megan Vedder, David Randelman and David Kirschner. Each candidate will have the opportunity to share their views with the community in opening and closing statements at the forum. They will also be asked questions from the LWV moderators based on questions collected from the audience.

Community members can either submit questions at the forum or ahead of time at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfELpDuRnjgdEF9b_3O4FoE9kxXZS-M0rbk-rr4imBo3kOF5A/viewform. Volunteers from the league will then “sort them and look for common themes and topics” per Beth Johnston, chief communications officer at Lindbergh Schools.

This event is free and open to the public. For those who cannot attend, a recording of the forum will be posted on the district’s YouTube channel – https://www.youtube.com/lindberghflyers.
