Forder Elementary students are having an unexpected virtual learning day Thursday due to a water main break near the school.
The Mehlville School District’s elementary students are back five days a week in class since the start of the second semester Jan. 19, but have had virtual learning days in the past month due to snow and a power outage at Oakville Elementary.
Forder Principal Whitney Maus wrote to families, “Forder Elementary School does not have water today due to a water main break near our campus. As a result, our building will be closed and students will have virtual learning. Please have your student log in to their Class Google Meet at 9 a.m. Teachers will be sending an email this morning with more details.”
