Leo Davis of the Richmond Heights Fire Department visited Lindbergh Early Childhood Education last week to teach young students about fire safety and how first responders help keep the community safe. Davis’ son is a student in the Kangaroo classroom, and his visit was part of the classroom’s Family of the Month program. Each month, a different student creates a poster about his or her family, and family members visit with the class. This month, the class got to go outside in the parking lot, see a real fire truck and learn about the equipment firefighters use to respond in emergencies.
