The St. Louis County Police Department has found a missing endangered man safe after issuing statewide alerts to try to find him.

Police previously issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred in the 9600 block of Jesse Drive in Affton at 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

Edvin Cehic, 26, a white male, is being reported as an endangered missing person. He has a height of 5’3″, weight of 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.  His clothing is unknown at this time.

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Missing Person incident:

Cehic checked out of St. Louis University Hospital on Friday after being admitted for a psychiatric evaluation.  He was last seen on Jesse Drive at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, and he has not been heard from since.  The advisory says he has a history of suicidal statements and has several medical conditions that are the result of brain trauma he suffered at the age of 10.  He also suffers from partial paralysis, speech impediments and cognitive impairment.

There has been no contact by him to his family or friends, and no activity on financial statements or social media, which is highly unusual for him.

Anyone seeing the missing person, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person, should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
