Last month a Missouri Lottery player stopped at QuikTrip, 702 Lemay Ferry Road, with his dog to purchase a Show Me Cash ticket, unaware that he would soon win $106,000.
“I play maybe once a month,” the unnamed winner stated in a press release. “I had my dog with me and he helped me pick out my numbers.”
Luck was on the duo’s side as the numbers picked by the man and his dog would match all five numbers drawn in the Oct. 30 drawing – 1, 3, 21, 26 and 32.
“I was surprised,” he stated. “I had to check it a few times.”
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots starting at $50,000 and growing until won.
Missouri Lottery players who purchased tickets in St. Louis County in fiscal year 2024 have won more than $200.8 million in prizes total. Retailers have received more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs throughout the county have received more than $161.2 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
