Marcus Alexander and Lisa Marie Deckert of Oakville announce the birth of their first child, Samantha Kate, 19.5 inches, 7 pounds, 6 ounces. She was born Jan. 5 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Debra Ann and Kenneth R. Whaley of Hillsboro.
Paternal grandparents are Oksana and Theodore G. Deckert of Oakville.
