The Pardee Lane parking ordinance will be back on for consideration at Tuesday’s Crestwood Board of Aldermen meeting after the board voted unanimously to reintroduce it Jan. 25.

The ordinance would have turned the side of Pardee Lane with no fire hydrants into a special event parking area. The ordinance was denied by a 3-5 vote Jan. 11 after Ward 4 Alderman Tony Kennedy made mention of the lack of consensus among residents in that area to approve the ordinance.

As a majority voter, Ward 2 Alderman Justin Charboneau motioned Jan. 25 to reintroduce the ordinance for discussion in the future.

“That’s why I want to bring it up … to make it more accurate as far as something that is enforceable and something the residents are happy with as well,” Charboneau said.

Aldermen voted 7-0 to discuss the ordinance and amendments at the Feb. 8 meeting.
