The second interactive seminar planned by Crestwood officials to discuss redevelopment with residents will take place next week.

“Redevelopment Tools and Plans” will be the topic of the seminar that will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Aldermanic Chambers at City Hall, 1 Detjen Drive.

Issues that will be discussed during the seminar include tax-increment financing,

transportation development districts, community improvement districts and the state’s Urban Redevelopment Corporation Law, also known as Chapter 353 of the Missouri State Statutes. In addition, redevelopment areas along Watson Road will be discussed.

More than 65 Crestwood residents attended the city’s first forum on Oct. 21 that primarily focused on the city’s finances.
