The St. Louis County Department of Revenue is preparing to open the Senior Property Tax Freeze application in the coming weeks.
Residents can prepare ahead of time by visiting the program’s website at www.stlouiscountymo.gov/st-louis-county-departments/revenue/senior-property-tax-freeze/ to start gathering any necessary documents needed for the online application process.
Applications will only be accepted online; no mailed or dropped-off paper documents. The application deadline is June 30, 2025.
“Saint Louis County is committed to an excellent customer service experience,” County Executive Dr. Sam Page stated in a Sept. 3 press release. “To ensure this, we have added staff and are expanding our office space. This will allow us to better assist residents with any questions they may have about the program or application process.”
The County Council approved additional funding over the summer to implement the tax freeze program.
