Second-grade students at Concord Elementary School sponsored a baby shower to benefit Nurses for Newborns.
Students donated diapers, wipes, formula, clothes and many much-needed infant care items. Nurses for Newborns provides much-needed supplies and nursing care for new mothers.
“By collecting items and money for the organization, we hope to help our students understand that there are organizations in the world to help people who need it,” teacher Jenny Frederich stated in a news release. “It’s all about communities working together to help each other.”
