COMPASS II session Saturday

A repeat of the Mehlville School District’s third COMPASS II community-engagement session is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Washington Middle School, 5165 Ambs Road.

The third of six sessions for COMPASS II — Charting the Oakville-Mehlville Path to Advance Successful Schools — focuses on improvements to the district’s middle schools that were recommended as part of the first phase of COMPASS.

Attendees will break into groups by middle school and will be asked to formulate a list of concerns and improvements for their school.

District officials estimated more than 200 people attended the initial COMPASS II middle school session, which was conducted March 1.

The fourth COMPASS II community engagement session, which will focus on the district’s high schools, is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 12, at Bernard Middle School, 1054 Forder Road.

A repeat of that session is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Forder Elementary School, 5950 Telegraph Road.
