Holiday activities for the entire family are planned in December at the Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane.

“Gingerbread House Creations” will be featured at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to bring a parent, two fun kinds of candy to share, as well as their imagination.

Participants will be taught how to build a gingerbread house to take home and display for the holidays, according to a news release.

Royal icing, bases and other construction materials will be provided, the release stated. The cost is $8 for residents and $10 for nonresidents.

“Pizza With Santa” will be offered at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.

Santa will arrive at 7 p.m., and organizers urge those attending to bring their camera.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available until Dec. 8 at the Community Center. The cost is $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents.
