College Fair slated for Oct. 19

Area high school students can visit St. Louis Community College Monday, Oct. 19, when the Meramec campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, will serve as host of the annual College Fair.

More than 100 colleges and universities will be on hand from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Meramec gym to speak with students about college choice, financial aid and admission requirements. The fair is sponsored by Oakville, Mehlville, Lindbergh, Webster Groves and Kirkwood high schools and STLCC-Meramec.

On Wednesday, Oct. 21, the Meramec campus will serve as host of Art Portfolio Night.

Area high school students who are interested in fine art, graphic design, digital photography and other art related fields will be able to discuss programs and opportunities with STLCC faculty and faculty from other institutions in the St. Louis area. Advice will be provided on portfolio preparation and review. The event will take place in the Humanities Building.
