Church makes dresses to send to Uganda

A small group of women from ROC Ministries @ Mehlville have taken on a new ministry project. Under the leadership of Pamela Culis, the ladies meet each Wednesday morning in the church fellowship hall armed with pillowcases and fabrics to make pillowcase dresses for little girls in Uganda. This effort is part of a ministry called Hope 4 Women International that has been bringing dignity to women around the world since 2006. The dresses are sewn with love and care and will be sent to the organization to be forwarded to Uganda. To participate in making dresses, call (314) 487-4843. A workshop may be planned for the future to help others learn to make the pillowcase dresses. Pictured from left, are: Culis, Maxine Neal and Linda Mohr.
