‘Christmas Belles’ to be presented at Lindbergh

“Christmas Belles” will ring in the Lindbergh High School Auditorium, where it’s Christmastime in small-town Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle sisters — Frankie (Kylie Wurgler), Twink (Sara Nelson), and Honey Raye (Caroline Steinkamp) — are not in a festive mood.

Lindbergh High will present “Christmas Belles” at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 10, in the auditorium, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd. The cost is $5 at the door. Senior citizens are free every night.

In “Christmas Belles,” Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins while the jilted and bitter Twink is in jail for accidentally burning down half the town.

Meanwhile, Honey Raye attempts to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb Christ-mas program from spiraling into chaos with the help of a Santa who’s passing a kidney stone (Alex Avery); a red-wagon pulling shepherd (Mitchell Barrett); a reluctant, Elvis-impersonating sheriff (Peter Linck); and the past program director who is ruthlessly trying to take over the show (Maggie Hake).
