A new Build-A-Bear Workshop is opening Saturday in downtown St. Louis at the site of the company’s new “World Bearquarters” near Union Station, the St. Louis Wheel and St. Louis Aquarium.
Guests of all ages are invited to come celebrate the downtown Build-A-Bear Workshop grand opening with giveaways and fun activities all day Saturday, Jan. 4, from 9:55 a.m. to 9 p.m., with hourly raffles from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The workshop, which is located at 415 S. 18th Street, 63103, will offer the signature Build-A-Bear Make-Your-Own experience, with an assortment of furry friends and accessories and St. Louis-exclusive products for kids and adults alike.
The store will also offer Build-A-Party packages, perfect for special days or any day.
To celebrate the grand opening, Build-A-Bear will have a full day of fun-filled activities starting with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:55 a.m. with mascot Bearemy and Build-A-Bear founder Maxine Clark.
The first 50 guests in line will receive a free Lil’ Cub furry friend. There will be hourly raffles for gifts, including St. Louis Blues items, tickets to the St. Louis Wheel, Build-A-Bear Workshop gift cards and more.
St. Louis’ favorite mascots Bearemy, Pawlette, Louie and Fredbird will be at the workshop throughout the day to celebrate and take photos with guests.
There will be interactive kid activities like face painting and a coloring station as part of the fun.
Regular workshop hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
