The Navy Blue Angels will visit St. Louis once again next year for the 2022 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and Stem Expo June 11-12.
The Navy Blue Angels were in town Nov. 17 as they began practicing for the 2022 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo June 11-12.
Tickets are available online now. County Executive Sam Page said at a press conference Nov. 17 at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport that he hopes children and young adults will take advantage of the opportunity to see the made-in-Missouri Blue Angel F/A-18 Super Hornet up close and personal.
“It’s our expectation and our hope that our kids and young adults in St. Louis County will be excited to have exposure to aviation and flying but also the STEM Expo,” Page said.
Lieutenant Katlin Forster, event coordinator for the Blue Angels, said the team did 28 shows this year after a year off for COVID in 2020. She said this is the first time the Super Hornet and the C130J Super Hercules will be in St. Louis for a show.Other acts will join the Blue Angels at the show and can be found at https://spirit-airshow.com/category/news/.
