Arms, Hays united in marriage in December ceremony

Aleta Diane Arms and William James Hays were married Dec. 4 at The Falls Reception Hall in Columbia, Ill., by the Rev. Sark Elking.

The bride is the daughter of Jacquelyn Digar of High Ridge and James Arms Sr. of Dupo, Ill. The groom is the son of James and Angela Hays of Barnhart.

The maid of honor was Courtney Flatbush of Festus, sister.

Bridesmaids were Theresa Godwin, friend; Christy Lercher, cousin; Britney Wolf, friend; Lesley Richardson, friend; Miranda Eccher, friend; Tabetha Garner, friend; Altise Kinnard, friend; Kendra Hays, groom’s niece; Kylie Hays, groom’s niece; and Kymber Blankinship, bride’s daughter.

The best man was Bryant Lacroix of St. Louis, friend.

Groomsmen were James Hays Sr., brother; Andrew Hays, brother; Jesse Lynch, cousin; Brett Robertson, friend; Brian Werner, friend; Alex Jones, friend; Steven Kerns, friend; James Hays Jr., groom’s nephew; and Bryson Hicks, bride’s son.

Flower girls were Nia and Trinity Ubaudi and Adalyah Arms, bride’s cousins and niece, respectively.

Ringbearers were Jesse James McKeever, James and Declyn Arms, bride’s nephews.

Ushers were John Hughes, groom’s friend; Thomas Mouser, groom’s friend; David Flatbush, bride’s brother-in-law; and Brenden Galligan, bride’s cousin.

A reception was held at The Falls.

After a honeymoon trip to Tahiti, French Polynesia, the couple moved to Oakville.
