The Whitecliff Summer Playhouse will offer “An Evening of Children’s Theater” beginning today — Thursday, July 16 — and continuing through Sunday, July 19, outside the Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane.

Geared to a grade-school and middle-school audience while still entertaining the adults who brought them to the show, this interactive production is comprised of children’s stories, fairy tales and fables.

The audience is not expected to sit quietly and watch, but will participate and interact with the cast. The show starts at 8:15 p.m. and runs roughly one hour.

Tickets cost $5 for adults and $2 for children and go on sale starting at 6:30 p.m. before performances. Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. For more information, call (314) 729-4860.
