Jeff and Jeannine Ahrens of Arnold announce the birth of their second child, Jeffrey Michael Jr., 21½ inches, 8 pounds, 10 ounces. He was born Jan. 14 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood.
Elder children are Andrew Hergenroeder, 6, and Alexis Ahrens, 3.
Maternal grandparents are Virginia Shipp and the late Allen Shipp of south county.
Paternal grandparents are Barbara and Walter Clifton of St. Louis.
Maternal great-grandmother is Allyne Sanders of St. Louis.
