Dinner-goers visit 9 Mile Garden, a food truck garden in Affton, during its last night of operation Thursday, July 30, 2020. The state’s first food truck garden, 9 Mile Garden just opened July 3, before announcing last week that it would temporarily close beginning Friday, July 31, after County Executive Sam Page tightened capacities on restaurants to 25 percent in an effort to stem rising coronavirus infections in the region.

Affton’s 9 Mile Garden, Missouri’s first food truck garden, will open its season on Monday, March 1, operating seven days a week for lunch, dinner and special events. This year, there will be a number of rotating food trucks, an updated draft beer menu at The Canteen and new special events. The Garden is located at 9375 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri, 63123.

The Canteen will be serving happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and a late-night happy hour from 10 p.m. to close. The Canteen also features air hockey, foosball, pickleball, cornhole and board games for free.

“We are excited to kick off our 2021 season with a killer line-up of food trucks and special events planned out,” said Brian Hardesty, managing partner of 9 Mile Garden, in a news release. “There has never been a better time to get outside, in a socially distant environment, and enjoy the incredible features we have in the garden like our 26-foot jumbo screen, live music and family-focused entertainment.”

The venue’s food truck lineup for 2021 consists of Doggie Mac’s, Havana’s Cuisine, Sugarfire 64, This N That, Truck Norris, Truckeria Del Valle, Wayno’s International and Zacchi Truck, to name a few.

While enjoying the array of food trucks, patrons can experience a different event every night of the week. The initial lineup for 2021 is:

  • Every Monday night trivia night at 7 p.m.
