Drunken Ham
5-6 pound fully-cooked ham
12 ounce beer of your choice
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup mustard
3 tablespoons brandy or whiskey (can also substitute juice)
Place ham in pan. Pour beer over ham. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes, basting with beer every 15 minutes. Combine mustard, brown sugar and brandy or whiskey, and spread over ham. Increase oven temp to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake ham, basting a couple more times with drippings, until the glaze browns. Internal temp should be 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with drippings on the side.
