One lucky Missouri Lottery player won $50,000 on a “Froot Loot” scratchers ticket she bought at a South County QuikTrip, 3475 Lemay Ferry Road.

There are only 10 of these top prizes.

“At first I thought it was just a $50 winner, but when I kept scratching, there were just more zeros,” the winner – who was unnamed in the Missouri State Lottery’s press release – stated.

The winner found out she won big while scratching her ticket off at work, surrounded by co-workers who got to witness her reaction.

“They thought I needed an ambulance,” she laughed. “I just kept trying to tell them that I won, but the words wouldn’t come out.”
Once she was able to tell them, everyone shared her shock and excitement.

Players of the $3 “Froot Loot” game have won over $8.8 million in prizes. Over $9.1 million remains unclaimed, including four more top prizes of $50,000.

In the 2022 Fiscal Year, lottery players won over $205.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $39 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs around the county.
