Voters in the Mehlville School District learned about the candidates at a school board forum Tuesday night hosted by Call Newspapers and moderated by the League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis.

Newcomers Ben Droney, Scott Huegerich and Sarah Grace Wright are vying for two seats up for election April 5. The seats carry three-year terms. Board President Kevin Schartner and Director Larry Felton are not seeking reelection.

The League of Women Voters moderated the forum at Andre’s South in Oakville.

The forum utilized League of Women Voters’ ground rules, including questions from the audience submitted on index cards and adherence to time limits for responses.
