Three Democrats — including incumbent Russ Carnahan of St. Louis — are seeking their party’s nomination to the 3rd District congressional seat in next week’s primary.
Challenging Carnahan, who is serving his third, two-year term, in Tuesday’s primary are David Arnold of south county and Edward Crim of St. Louis. Three Republicans — Ed Martin of St. Louis, John Wayne Tucker of Arnold and Rusty Wallace of House Springs are seeking their party’s nod in the primary. Constitution Party candidate Nick Ivanovich is unopposed in the primary.
None of the Democratic candidates responded to a Call questionnaire.
