Takeiros Mex-Grill, a new Mexican restaurant located in Green Park at 5828 S. Lindbergh Blvd., has finally opened its doors to diners in South County and beyond. 

The development has been in the works for some time. The building, which was previously a Steak ’n Shake restaurant, has been under development for years, with some online references to equipment orders as far back as 2022. 

The restaurant, which will serve a wide assortment of Mexican fare, features hand-painted murals on the inside, along with two dining areas: one that is oriented more toward family dining, and one that is more tailored for adult guests with bar seating.
