The Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen will hold a special meeting Wednesday to vote on a resolution accepting COVID-19 relief funds from St. Louis County.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 via video conference on Zoom.
St. Louis County was awarded $173.5 million under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security, or CARES, Act.
The county set aside $47 million of that for cities in the county and the U.S. Treasury said that the funds could be handed down to municipalities to be used to pay police and fire salaries through the end of the year.
The Crestwood Board of Aldermen voted last week on a similar resolution to accept the CARES Act funds from the county.
