Sunset Hills Subaru is partnering with the Animal Protective Association (APA) Adoption Center to host a pet adoption event Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place at Sunset Hills Subaru, 10100 Watson Road, and will include a BBQ lunch, an adoptable pet costume contest and an appearance from the APA mascot. Community members and their dogs are welcome.
On top of hosting the event, Sunset Hills Subaru is sponsoring a $12,000 grant to the APA Adoption Center.
Sunset Hills Subaru has partnered with the APA for the past five years. This includes sponsoring monthly events with the shelter throughout the year, such as the recent Canine Carnival held Sept. 15.
