Subscription Contest Terms and Conditions
1. No purchase necessary. Making a purchase does not increase chances of winning
2. Participation is limited to legal U.S. residents who reside within Call Newspapers area and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
3. Eligible participants will fill out and submit the online contest form located HERE or fill out and mail or drop off the form found in the print edition of the newspaper to 9977 Lin Ferry Dr, St Louis, MO 63123. Entry forms can also be faxed to 314-843-0508. To enter the drawing the form must be filled out in full. Only one entry will be allowed per household.
4. Contest will open 12:01am on the first of each month and will close for submissions 10 am on the third Thursday of each month.
5. Sweepstakes winners will be selected by Call Newspapers staff. Staff members will randomly select one (1) name out of the pool of entrants every month. Winners will be notified by Call Newspapers staff through a phone call on the third Thursday of each month. If the winner can not be reached by phone, the address listed on the form submitted by the winner will automatically be signed up for a three (3) month subscription for St. Louis Call.
6. Winners of the sweepstakes will win one (1) subscription for St. Louis Call for up to three (3) months, valued at $25.00. Equivalent value of $25.00 can be applied to a bill for a six (6) month or twelve (12) month subscription in place of the free three (3) month subscription. Subscription cannot be resold or traded for cash.
7. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problems, or in the event the contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Call Newspapers in its sole discretion, Call Newspapers may, in its sole discretion, either (a)suspend the contest to address the impairment and them resume the contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random to the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. Call Newspapers reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Call Newspapers reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by the law.
8. Call Newspapers current staff members and their relatives within three degrees are prohibited from participating in the contest.
9. Contest is void where prohibited.
10. Information collected from entrants is subject to Call Newspaper’s privacy policy.
11. Participation in the contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Call Newspapers, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Call Newspapers reserves the right to reject and disqualify any submissions that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS CALL NEWSPAPERS AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. CALL NEWSPAPERS AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. CALL NEWSPAPERS AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST.
