Lindbergh High School senior Tiffany Lee has been selected as one of roughly 550 semifinalists for the 2013 U.S. Department of Education’s Presidential Scholars competition.
Each year, up to 141 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students, a news release stated.
The Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by executive order of the president to recognize and honor the nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors.
