The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating a weekend homicide that left one man dead in South County.
According to a new release from the department, officers from the Affton Southwest Precinct responded to a call for service around 7:25 p.m. on Nov. 2 for a shooting in the 4200 block of Bayless Avenue. Responding officers located an adult male who suffered a life-threatening gunshot injury. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another individual involved, an adult male, is currently hospitalized due to non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the incident. Police said no other suspects are being sought.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will disseminated once it is available.
